In 2017, a resident of the city of Girard in Ohio twice reported on the observation of an unidentified object in the sky. The second case he captured on video and sent for consideration to the non-profit organization MUFON UFO research.
The first event happened on July 6, when a huge floating object in the shape of a disk hovered over a golf course. And the second time fell on July 7, 2017. The witness with his family (child and wife) was returning by car at 21:32.
A witness describes:
“This was the second observation in two nights. For the first time, the phone was suddenly discharged and I could not write anything down. Now I was driving and specifically looking out. The sun was almost set, it was dark and no clouds. We turned the corner, and again I saw a giant glowing disk. It seemed as if he was floating above the houses. The ship was huge, wrong somewhere around 90 m. Around it was observed pulsating lights of yellow and red. We did not hear any sounds. ”
The witness stopped the car and turned on the camera on his mobile phone: “We stood for about 10 minutes. Yesterday my phone just ran out, but now I was ready. I started shooting and it seemed that they noticed me on the ship and started moving in our direction. This thing really scared my wife and child. And the phone is suddenly empty again. I had to get in the car and take the family home. Then I also watched the object from the street and saw how it flew over the line of houses ”.
A witness noted that both times his completely infected phone stopped working, as if “a UFO was sucking the charge”. But this is not the end. The man said that soon there was the sound of a helicopter that could fly from a nearby Air Force base. As the helicopter approached, the UFO began to move away towards Cleveland. Then a bright flash appeared and the ship disappeared. And behind it flew several helicopters, as if pursuing a bright object.
The witness sent a video in poor quality. But when considering, you can see two lights, and above them a dark shadow in the form of a disk (at least, the author of the video says so).
One commentator does not agree that this is a UFO:
“Seriously? Yes, this is a 100% example of a distant oncoming aircraft. I see dozens of them per night. When they come in for a landing, they look that way - a bright light. And they can remain so bright for about 10-20 minutes ”.
But MUFON has not yet determined what it was, and classified it as “unidentified flying objects”. The case remains open.
