New information on the hole on the ISS. Conclusions hint at action from within

The last few months in space are hectic. It all started in August when astronauts on board the International Space Station found a small hole in one of the walls of the Soyuz spacecraft, which caused the air to enter the space vacuum. The hole itself was quickly taped, but questions remained. How did she come about? And was this done intentionally?

Some lean towards the worst options. For example, after finding a hole, Roskosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin said that the crew could be the culprit. The intrigue has recently increased, as two Russian cosmonauts came out to check out the space walk. Sergei Prokopiev and Oleg Kononenko reached the site of the damage, opened the outer shell, collected samples, and received pictures of the outer side of the ship. Prokopyev says that everything started from inside the spacecraft. There is only one hole, which excludes the micrometeorite version or any other natural cause. It turns out that someone accidentally or specifically drilled a hole in space.

This is of particular concern for Roskosmos, since it found a hole on a Russian ship docked with the station. When it comes to deliberate sabotage, it risks harming cooperation between countries.
