The White House sets a new policy to reduce the amount of space debris. President Donald Trump must sign a new space policy directive during the convening of the National Space Council.
The new policy requires guaranteeing safety and environmental protection in orbit as the number of satellites increases. It also establishes new guidelines for the design and operation of satellites in order to avoid collisions and explosions of spacecraft.
Outer space is becoming increasingly congested, and the current principles of leadership are not well thought out to solve the problem.
