Christmas delivery from SpaceX is delayed due to communication problems

The photograph shows the SpaceX spacecraft of the company SpaceX, approaching the ISS for docking on 8 December. Due to communication problems, we had to postpone the Christmas delivery.

Communication problems delayed Christmas delivery to the International Space Station. The SpaceX Dragon capsule, filled with festive treats, hung at a distance of 10 m from the orbital complex on December 8. Failure of satellite communication forced to suspend the docking process.

For security reasons, the mission’s control ordered the capsule to move away by 30 meters. During this period, communication between the orbital station and ground controllers temporarily stopped. NASA reports that the problem concerns the Dragon capsules, and the equipment in New Mexico, which serves the satellite tracking and data transmission system. NASA decided to switch to another TDRS satellite to solve the problem.
