NASA leaders celebrate the 60th anniversary of the agency

Over the past 30 years, NASA executives have come together to mark the 60th anniversary of the work of the space agency. Five former administrators joined current boss Jim Brandenstein in Orlando on September 17th. It was the largest collection in the history of NASA, including every administrator since 1989. Convection organized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The longest term belongs to Daniel Golding. Brandenstein stated the value of human space flight, and also stressed the importance of developing scientific and technical programs that can attract more public support.

At the meeting, the current administrator also reviewed the latest NASA plans for sending astronauts back to the moon. Buzz Aldrin was also present at the panel discussion. NASA began work on October 1, 1958.
