Orion Test Capsule in the Pacific

Orion Test Capsule in the Pacific

On November 1, 2018, the Orion capsule test version was returned. The ship flaunts against the sunset in the Pacific Ocean.

The recovery system testing (URT-7) is the seventh test that the ground systems recovery team, together with the US Navy, is conducting to test the procedures and equipment that they plan to use to return the Orion spacecraft after falling into the ocean from space.

Orion will be able to support the crew during space flight, to ensure safe return when entering at high speed from space and an emergency landing.
