World View, the side branch of Paragon Space Development Corp., a private company, announced that it is developing air-based transport, rising to a height within near-Earth space, costing $ 75,000. The helium balloon will carry an airtight gondola with six toll tourists on board, to a height of about 30 kilometers. The environment will be so much like space (with the exception of an altitude of 110 kilometers, where outer space “officially” begins) that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) considers this type of transport to be a spaceship.

World View, a side branch of Paragon Space Development Corp., a privately owned company, announced that it is developing air-based transport, rising to an altitude within near-earth space, worth $ 75,000. The helium balloon will carry an airtight nacelle, with six paid tourists on board, to a height of about 30 kilometers. The environment will be so much like space (with the exception of an altitude of 110 kilometers, where outer space “officially” begins) that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) considers this type of transport to be a spaceship.

The World View Gondola must be airtight, as well as the spacecraft, in order to protect passengers from freezing at an altitude where the air pressure is almost zero.

Unlike the Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo, the World View gondola can hover over the Earth for a long period of time, possibly within a few hours. However, tourists will not experience microgravity.
