15 years of displaying Mars in photos

On December 23, 2003, the ESA Mars Express entered the orbit of the Red Planet. The spacecraft began to receive the first images with a high-resolution stereo camera after a couple of weeks. Over 15 years of work, we managed to send thousands of amazing photos to Earth, covering the entire planet.

In this video, collected the most interesting scenes covered by the missions. Mars Express traced billions of years of geological research: from ice-filled craters and polar caps to water-cut valleys, and ancient volcanoes. Enjoy the history and evolution of Mars in a new video about space.
