More than it seems

More than it seems

Despite the enormous progress in the knowledge of the Universe, scientists still cannot understand exactly how galaxies are created. There are several leading theories, but the formations differ in shape (elliptic, spiral, and irregular), so there is not yet a single one that could satisfy everyone at once.

To find the right, scientists have to identify the characteristic features of physical processes. One of them is the galactic corona - large-scale invisible areas of hot gas, concentrated around the observed galactic mass. Formed as a sphere. Their temperature index is so high that you can find in the X-ray review. In 2013, researchers noticed NGC 6753. This is one of two massive spiral-type galaxies whose crown can be observed. Distributed by 150 million km.

The image shows a splash of blue in the spiral arms - the territory with young stars glowing in the UV-review. More red dots - ancient objects that appear in the infrared range.
