Incident in Nebraska - 1967. The policeman believes that he was on a spaceship

If the story is real, then this policeman not only managed to collide with a UFO, but also to visit the spacecraft. How did the kidnapping happen, and what did the man see?

These events occurred on December 3, 1967 in the city of Ashland (Nebraska). Police officer Herbert Schirmer was on duty near State Highway 63 when he noticed bright lights ahead. He got into the car and headed towards them, because he thought that an accident had occurred and that there might be victims.

When he got to the source of light, he realized that it was not a car with the wounded at all. In fact, he saw a strange oval-shaped metal object with a size of up to 6 m. The officer froze in place and continued his observations. Suddenly, the cosmic plate soared and disappeared into the sky. Schirmer took out a notebook and wrote:

3 am I saw a flying saucer at the intersection of Highways 6 and 63! ”.

After that, he returned to the station and reported on the incident. At his report did not pay special attention, and the case was gradually forgotten. But the UFO researcher and psychologist Leo Sprinkle became interested in this business. He carefully studied the case and noticed a discrepancy in time. More precisely, a few hours disappeared somewhere.

Sprinkle noted that many UFO witnesses have a similar time lag. His main hypothesis is that people are abducted and erase memory. So he convinced Schirmer to agree to a hypnotic regression session. It turned out that the policeman remembers much more than he wrote in the report.

Under hypnosis, Schirmer recalled how he voluntarily approached the spacecraft. He claimed that he did not feel fear or doubt. He went inside and was met by a group of aliens. He said that in appearance they were not different from people, but shorter. There was also a uniform with a snake sign on each one.

The police officer told how the newcomers conducted a tour of the spacecraft and even showed a diagram of the propulsion system. Aliens communicated through telepathy. They told that they had come from the nearest star system, but for a while they lingered on Venus. Their motor system is based on reverse electromagnetism, and energy is extracted literally from the whole Earth. They also added that they would return for him and take him away to show the Universe.

Sprinkle was convinced that the policeman really tells the truth and believes in it. But the US military responded that the experience of dealing with a UFO is physically unreal, and the young policeman is just confused.

No one can prove that Schirmer was on board the spacecraft, but this event changed his life. First of all, he resigned from the police because he could not bear the mockery of his colleagues. Locals joined the harassment because they thought that Schirmer was speculating on the UFO theme to attract attention.

Once they tried to blow up his car. The wife could not stand it and soon left him. It all ended with the fact that Schirmer refused to communicate with journalists, researchers, and no longer spoke on this topic.

Some blame the psychologist Sprinkle and the hypnotist for this. The fact is that hypnotic regression may not restore memory, but create it. Therefore, who wanted to hear so much about the aliens, Sprinkle accidentally formed these memories and broke the guy's life. Or the aliens really abducted Schirmer, but no one believed him. After all, writing in a notebook appeared before the sessions of the hypnotist.
