Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket is designed to be re-sent up to 10 times with minimal reconstruction

SpaceX is ready to launch its new Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket, which should be more powerful and easier to use. The main objective in the first mission is to deliver the first high-orbit communications satellite for Bangladesh - the Bangabandhu Satellite-1.

It is planned that the rocket will deliver people to the ISS on board the crew space capsule Dragon, which is still in development. The first launch of the crew is scheduled for December 2018. The rocket is designed to re-launch up to 10 times with minimal reconstruction. Block 5 is the latest modification for the Falcon 9 model. Then the company plans to concentrate on the next rocket of the new generation BFR. The launch for Block 5 is scheduled for Thursday and will be the 9th this year.

After launch, the rocket will attempt to return to a vertical landing on a platform in the Atlantic Ocean. Up to this point, SpaceX managed to land 11 accelerators on land and 13 on floating platforms in the ocean.
