Three cosmonauts arrived on the ISS for a 5-month mission

The spacecraft ship is sent with two astronauts and an astronaut on Wednesday

Three crew members docked with the ISS to spend the next 5 months at the station. Roscosmos announced a successful docking.

The missile was attended by Alexander Misurkin, Mark Hay and Joe Akaba. Now they will join Paolo Nespoli, Sergey Ryazansky and Randy Bresnik in the orbital laboratory.

This is the first time since 2010, when the Americans launched the ISS from Baikonur. In 2011, the United States was forced to abandon the shuttles.

Aqaba completed 2 missions and spent 138 days in space. Mark Hay previously served in the army and was in Iraq. Misurkin also has military experience behind him.

The launch was marred by a series of deadly storms engulfing the Caribbean and the southern part of America. External cameras of the ISS were able to remove the uranium Irma last week over the territory of the Atlantic. Hurricane Harvey also walked through the Johnson Space Center (Houston).

The ISS is still the only place where cooperation between countries has not been disrupted due to the wars in Syria and Ukraine. Therefore, crew members maintain neutrality and focus on science.
