In 2015, a team of researchers from Russia came up against an unusual find. They managed to find more than a dozen stone disks, which in their form resembled large UFOs. What was that?

On September 9, 2015, the expedition arrived at the excavation in the Zhirnovsky district (Volgograd region). Researchers are interested in this place, because among the locals there was a lot of talk about mystical events and phenomena.

During the excavation, out of the ground, it was possible to extract more than 10 strange stone disks with a size of no more than a meter. However, one in the parameters covered about 4 meters. To get them, I had to rent a special crane.

In shape, some discs appear gigantic, smooth, elongated pebbles. But there are instances that look like alien plates. Ufologists were convinced that we were petrified UFOs. Some have put forward the theory that these military UAVs that were damaged during the attack on Mars, managed to reach the Earth, but crashed to the surface. Initially, the researchers claimed that tungsten was present as part of the disks, which is used in military technology. However, experts conducted a thorough analysis and challenged these findings. No metallic inclusions were found, but the age of these structures can reach a million years.

Scientists do not see anything mystical in stone discs. They believe that the forms appeared as a result of the natural process of erosion. However, ufologists believe that everything is much more complicated. Even if there are no metal marks in the disks, this does not mean that they could not have been created by human hands.

The analysis showed traces of animal formations, which significantly reduce the age of the disks. The theory of paleokontakt says that aliens have been visiting our planet in the distant past. In this case, the ancient people could see a UFO and cut out similar forms of stone to honor the aliens as gods. This hypothesis is supported by numerous cave paintings showing humanoids and aircraft.
