The CIA declassified some documents about unidentified flying objects

In 2016, the Central Intelligence Agency presented a collection of declassified documents relating to past UFO research. Of course, nowhere are cases of direct contact with alien creatures, studying real UFOs or searching for aliens among people are described. However, there are many interesting cuts that hint at mystical events and show that the US government really monitors reports of mysterious soaring objects.

A stack of documents dated 1949-1953. It is noticeable that they are not very strongly edited and encrypted, so there are no problems with reading. For the most part, the material is about detected messages and deciphering what exactly the UFOs were. There are many stories about the anxiety of Americans in those times when they were constantly awaiting an attack from the USSR.

There is also an instruction on “How to study a flying saucer”, which is dedicated not to civilians, but to agents investigating UFO cases. Headings in the instructions include “Conducting controlled experiments”, “Creating a reporting system for organizing incoming cases”, and “Determining the goals of your investigation”.

In addition, the CIA left links to several black and white photographs taken 50-60 years ago. However, they all point to already non-existent pages, which gave rise to new suspicions among ufologists. It would be interesting to compare these frames with modern observations.
