Sometimes archeologists discover strange objects dating back thousands of years. The only embarrassment is that some of the finds resemble modern objects and mechanisms. It happened with the disc Sabu.
In 1936, Egyptologist Walter Bryan Emery, during an excavation at Saqqara (a settlement 30 km south of Cairo), discovered the untouched tomb of the official Sabu. Fingering the pottery, he stumbled upon a strange “disk”. Further analysis showed that it was created in 3100-3000 BC. er
It is a stone “plate” with thin walls, made in the correct round shape. Metasilt (meta-aleurite) was present. In the center there was a cylindrical sleeve, to which the edges of the disk were bent. In diameter, the subject covered about 70 cm.
Scientists immediately began to argue about the appointment of the disk Sabu, because before this did not find anything like that. The method of manufacture was not clear. Egyptologists cannot give an exact answer, but they believe that it is a dishware (as it was found among clay pots), and the strange form reflects the symbols of ankh and ka (connection with religious beliefs).
Others think that this is a wheel model, although in Ancient Egypt its appearance dates back to 1500 BC. er The ufologists who saw a propeller with hydraulic ribs in the Sabu disk interfered in the dispute! Some believe that an item is more like a part of a pump or a fan. Maybe a rotor from a car alternator?
Moreover, there are reputable ufologies who considered that the Sabu disk was used as a part in an ancient aircraft that was used for its intended purpose. Of course, official science does not recognize anything of the kind and advises not to search for aliens where they are not.
But here it is worth mentioning the opinion of the researcher Erich von Daniken. When he agreed with the idea of the plane, he was told: “But the part is made of stone, but does a stone plane fly?”. At this Danikin said that the stone plane and was not intended to fly. And as a transcript cited personal observations.
During World War II, American soldiers established a base in Papua New Guinea. Local aborigines watched strangers bringing equipment, airplanes, and various types of weapons. The war ended, and the Americans left. But the aborigines began to recreate the objects they had seen earlier from stone, wood and straw. Later Danikin will personally find straw and wooden copies of radios, airplanes and rifles. The aborigines imitated objects, although they did not understand their purpose. Here the researcher expresses an interesting idea: “What if the detail from the stone aircraft was created by the ancient people as an imitation of the seen spacecraft of an alien civilization?”.
The Danikin hypothesis seems interesting, because after the excavation a huge number of strange ancient objects have gathered that resemble today's technologies or UFOs. Moreover, the researcher is convinced that the newcomers visited the Earth 14,000 years ago, leaving a memory of themselves in the form of skillful imitation from scrap materials.
