Does anyone have any? New SETI platform will track the search for aliens

Research on extraterrestrial life continues throughout the world, so representatives from the Institute for Extraterrestrial Mind (SETI) have released a new platform that will help track the results.

Jill Tarter led the development of the recently announced web-based tool “Technosearch”. This database includes all published SETI searches from 1960 to the present day. The database is available at https://technosearch.seti.org/. SETI representatives hope that the whole community will work together to maintain the accuracy and relevance of the tool. His main goal is to report all searches conducted in the sky. Tarter began to keep the archive while still a graduate student. Some of the original documents were presented at conferences or published in obscure journals that SETI newcomers find difficult to access. Therefore, the new tool offers all the necessary information and reveals the methodology for finding extraterrestrial intelligence.

The researchers are convinced that Technosearch will become an important instrument for astronomers and amateurs interested in exploring space and searching for technologically advanced civilizations. The instrument was presented on January 9 at the 223rd meeting of the American Astronomical Society.
