Astronaut Stephanie Wilson prepares for space

In the 2009 image, NASA astronaut Stephanie Wilson is trying on a training version of his launch suit for space shuttles. She took part in a training session in a mockup of a spacecraft at the Johnson Space Center in preparation for STS-131.

Wilson visited space flight three times and graduated from Harvard University with a degree in engineering. He also holds a master's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Texas.

Got into the program in 2006. To become part of the team, she had to take swimming courses. In 2010-2012. In 2005-2003 she held the position of the head of the integration department of the ISS, and in 2009, 2013 and 2017 was a member of the astronaut selection boards.
