Experts claim that you should not prepare for a catastrophe, because the object 2018 RC will be located at a relatively safe distance, without assuming collisions.

The asteroid approaching signal came from the ATLAS surveillance system in the Hawaiian Islands. It was first noticed on August 31 and size estimates point to a 71-meter cliff. On average, a person can observe several asteroids at a distance less than the Earth-Moon distance each month. Often they go unnoticed, but the 2018 RC is distinguished by coarseness, so you can follow it. Asteroid 2018 RC will approach the nearest point at 220,000 km at approximately 3:00 pm Moscow time.
