Scientists have managed to find a previously unknown Serasvati supercluster, located in the direction of the constellation Pisces. It stands out for its size, as it acts as one of the most large-scale structures in the Universe. Removed 4,000 million light years from us.
It turned out that large structures adhere to the principle of a hierarchical grouping and are connected with galaxies, gas and dark matter. All this is combined into the largest formations - “space networks”.
Superclusters are considered the largest coherent structures of space networks. These are chains of galaxies and galaxy clusters held by gravity. Can hold tens of thousands of galaxies. The found Sarasvati extends over 600 million light years and spans 20 million billion suns.
Peering at such a distance, scientists see the ancient Universe and capture only the light, which took a long time to get to us. The supercluster found is observed at the moment when the age of the Universe was 10 billion years.

It is believed that an important role is played by dark energy, which differs in its behavior from gravity.
It is believed that the largest structures are filaments along which many galaxies move. Everything ends in rich clusters where the birth of stars stops and the galaxies become spiral blue and elliptical red.
The word “serasvati” has Indo-European roots and denotes the main river, around which ancient Indian civilizations lived. The Milky Way is part of the Laniakey supercluster.
We already know about the Great Wall of Sloan and Schally Concentration. But Sarasvati is much farther away. The study of superclusters will help to understand how such large structures could appear billions of years ago, when dark matter only began to dominate in the process of creating structures.
