SpaceX ship return

SpaceX ship return

Dragon safely transported cargo to the International Space Station. According to the plan, during landing it crashed in the waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Representatives left a post on Twitter that the ship fell off the coast of California at about 5 am (Monday).

The space station's robotic arm released a capsule, after which it took 5.5 hours to “fall”. SpaceX will get it and deliver it to California.

The package from the ISS will be sent to NASA to conduct further analysis. For the ship this is the second visit to the station. Earlier, Dragon specialized in equipment for the orbital module. The first flight was carried out in 2014.

Now SpaceX spends more and more time developing parts reuse technology to reduce startup and repair costs.
