A private space flight company, Ilona Musk, landed her rocket into the ocean after sending satellites into space.
SpaceX returned to work on Saturday, sending a batch of Iridium communications satellites, and then made a successful landing of the first stage of the rocket on the installation, floating in the Pacific Ocean.
The launch was carried out at the Vanderberg military airbase in California at 12:54 pm ET. This is the first flight of the Falcon 9 in the last five months.
After 9 minutes, the first step, which occupies the height of a 14-story building, landed on a barge. This is the seventh successful return after the start and the first one launched in California.
The main goal of the mission is to deliver the first batch of 10 communication satellites for Iridium, which plans to upgrade its network for $ 3 billion.
