SpaceX launches communication satellite

The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station with a commercial satellite SES-12 on June 4, 2018. The frame shows a rocket rising against the backdrop of a waning moon.

SpaceX launched another satellite for the Luxembourg Communications Company. Falcon 9 rocket launched on June 4 from Cape Canaveral (Florida). The powerful and huge satellite of SES weighs 5400 kg and should provide television for Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East.

The first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket took off last September. SpaceX is moving to a new and improved line of accelerators, so there is nothing surprising that this time they threw it into the water, and did not try to land it.

SES was the first company to agree to ride the SpaceX rocket back in March 2017. The company seeks to reduce launch costs by reusing rockets.
